Learn how to grow a sustainable garden for a healthy, vibrant lifestyle
Melinda Joy Miller, renowned chef, Suzanne Tracht, Jar and Carla Gentile, Steam Salon will team up to teach you how to grow herbs sustainably, incorporate herbs into your beauty regime and create delicious food straight from the herb garden to the table.

- Carla Gentile, owner of Steam, will talk about how she developed a hair care product line using herbs and oils and give participants tips to keep their hair healthy.
- Workshop with Melinda Joy Miller to plant herbs sustainably, including information on the medicinal and shamanic characteristics of herbs.
- Private cooking demonstration with Suzanne Tracht at Jar. Suzanne will teach students how to create stylized hors d'oeuvres, teas and cocktails with fresh herbs.

Sustainable & Edible Gardening Workshop

Learn to set up your backyard garden or container crops using sustainable technologies. Learn to grow high nutrition vegtables, herbs and edible flowers. Melinda Joy has a book coming out with Process Media Inc on this subject in the fall of 2010.
This class is the abridged version of our full sustainable gardening class. Participants will be able to apply this workshop to the full class upon request.

Medicine Wheel of Peace - Shamanic Astrology

Similar to astrology, this system gives you a deeper understanding of your personal purpose, identity and new tools for healing relationships. Similar to feng shui, this is a system to set an environment to create a balance for you on a personal level.

The instructor, Melinda Joy Miller, studied for seven years with renowned Hawaiian Kahuna, Moornah Simonea, learning ancient clearing techniques. This class includes her thirty years experience in her practice of metaphysical healing and multi cultural modalities.
